About Jeremy

Jeremy grew up on the Kaipara Harbour cruising on his parents launch and the Hauraki gulf on his grandfather's yacht; before moving to Auckland where he undertook a boatbuilding apprenticeship. It was in Auckland he discovered a love for the clearer waters and a career that enabled him to channel his skilled craftsmanship and obsessive attention to detail.

Obtaining a NZ boat building qualification, Jeremy has worked across Auckland specialising in vessel repairs and alterations for more than 18 years. He is a skilled and passionate craftsman whose expertise, high standards and excellent customer service have enabled him to successfully project manage and undertake everything from new teak decks to major vessel alterations.

Jeremy currently resides on the Hibiscus coast with his wife and two small children. He established Jay Marine in early 2019 and can be found working on Auckland’s many Marinas.
